PROJECT PRO.2 IN HONDA TUNING - WINTER 2008 - OH SNAPS!

In June of 2008, I submitted my sunset photo to the Oh Snaps! contest in Honda Tuning Magazine. It had been a spur-of-the-moment idea and I didn't think about it very much.  Several months later, I grabbed the Winter 2008 issue from the mailbox when I arrived home for lunch from work and was flipping through it waiting for my lunch to finish reheating in the microwave when I saw it...

I just about fell over. I never expected to have the picture get published, and I certainly never expected the SIZE of picture they printed. To say I was excited would be an understatement. I ate lunch as fast as I could and stopped by a couple Chapters stores on my way back to work and cleaned them out of copies. In total I think I bought about 12 copies, plus my subscription copy. I'd dreamed of getting my picture in a magazine since the early days of Project 88 and it finally happened. It isn't a feature, but I don't care. This is MY picture that I took, featuring MY car. I couldn't be happier and couldn't ask for anything more.

I'm presently looking at having it laminated and hanging it in my home office.
